There are 6 Packs, each with 4 Cliches, making up 24 Cliches in total. Each Pack follows a theme, eg quotes, vehicles etc.
Choose one of the packs for episode one, and if any of those cliches are used in the episode (subject to any riders shown in the Pack) you will gain points for them.
If you wish to change a Pack for the next episode, you are free to do so, as often as you wish. However, a Pack, once chosen, cannot be changed before the next screened episode.

EVENTS PACK
Events are, obviously, things that happen in 24. If an event occurs once in an episode, points are awarded. The event must occur ONSCREEBN, ie not be referred to or flashed-back to, in order to earn you points.
Two such events in one episode will get you double points, however this does not count if the event has already taken place.
For instance, a warehouse blows up in the first 10 mins of the episode. 20 mins later, Jack passes or visits there, or it's shown again. This does NOT count as two explosions, two events.
However, if while there ANOTHER explosion occurs, that counts. See the rules for further.
This can be a building, vehicle, city even. The explosion must be seen onscreen, and must take place, ie a planned bomb that does not go off is noe eligible.
This should be a character importnat or integral to the storyline. ie a roomful of people getting hurt is not eligible, but Audrey being hurt is. A CTU "red-shirter" (ie cannon fodder) getting wounded is not. Wounds can be superficial, but 1 extra point is added if the wound is mortal, and 2 extra points if the person wounded dies DURING THAT EPISODE.
This can be anyone, by anyone. Rescue does NOT have to be effected, or successful. Points are only awarded the first time the person is kidnapped. If a kidnap is mentioned but not shown in an episode, no points are awarded unless the kidnapped person is shown in another episode, at which stage points can be awarded
The fit-up must be valid, ie someone saying they've been framed for a murder that they actually did, is not admissable. If that person is later cleared of the charge an additional 2 points are awarded. If the
person dies or is killed while still framed you earn another 4 points.
QUOTES PACK
Quotes must be said verbatim, ie word-for-word. Each time a quote is used, players get points, even if two or more characters use the same phrase.
The x obviously represents the number of minutes, so if they say "I'll be there in ten minutes", that's acceptable. However, if they say "It'll take us ten minutes to get there," that isn't.
TOOL PACKS
Whenever a tool is used, or referred to in an episode, points are awarded. The same character, however, may not use or refer to the same tool over a twenty-minute span. In other words, if Jack uses his mobile (cell) phone you get points, but not every time he uses it.
VEHICLE PACK
Vehicles only earn points when they are integral to the episode, and only one per character.
So in other words, you can get points for Jack's SUV, but only once per episode. If he uses another SUV though, you can get points for that.
Similarly, if some other character uses one, you get points for that. You do NOT, howver, get points for vehicles seen in traffic that are not involved in the storyline.
So, say Jack is chasing another SUV, driven by a terrorist. You get points for both SUVs, but if he passes four SUVs during the chase, you don't get points for them.
EMOTIONS PACK
Emotions displayed by the major characters, at fifteen minute intervals, earn points. So if someone is angry and still angry 15 minutes later, you only get points for the first time they were angry.
However, if their anger turns to sadness, you get points then for both emotions. In terms of crowds/onlookers etc, one overriding emotion applies to all, liek if a bomb goes off, fear is going to be the main emotion dislpayed.
WEAPONS PACK
Weapons must be used, not just carried. They do not have to kill, wound or even strike their target, but must be seen onscreen, not just referred to.
Dummy weapons or misfiring weapons (including those with suddenly empty clips) are not allowable.
